Διεθνές Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Erasmus- Mundus International Master in Service Engineering
Λειτουργεί από το 2010, στα πλαίσια του ευρωπαϊκού προγράμματος υποτροφιών για διαπανεπιστημιακές σπουδές Erasmus Mundus και απευθύνεται κυρίως σε απόφοιτους πληροφορικής από όλο τον κόσμο προκειμένου να λάβουν εξειδίκευση στη Μηχανική Υπηρεσιών (Service Engineering). Το Πρόγραμμα υλοποιείται σε συνεργασία με τα πανεπιστήμια Tilburg (Ολανδία) και Stuttgart (Γερμανία).
Το πρόγραμμα σπουδών IMSE συμπληρώνεται από το Προχωρημένο Θερινό Σχολείο Πληροφορικής Υπηρεσιών (Advanced School on Service Oriented Computing) που διοργανώνεται κάθε χρόνο στην Κρήτη (http://www.summersoc.eu ).
Στο θερινό σχολείο συναντώνται διακεκριμένοι ομιλητές από τα πανεπιστήμια και τη βιομηχανία, με μεταπτυχιακούς φοιτητές και νέα στελέχη επιχειρήσεων. Οι μεταπτυχιακοί φοιτητές του IMSE, έχουν τη δυνατότητα να διευρύνουν τους επιστημονικούς τους ορίζοντες και συγχρόνως να φτιάξουν τα πρώτα δίκτυα επαφών και γνωριμιών, που θα τους βοηθήσουν στο ξεκίνημα της καριέρας τους.
Οι φοιτητές που μέχρι σήμερα έχουν παρακολουθήσει το IMSE ανέρχονται σε 54 και κατάγονται από 29 διαφορετικές χώρες από όλο τον κόσμο. Ποσοστό 51% προέρχεται από ασιατικές χώρες, 30% από την Ευρώπη, 15% από τη Νότια Αμερική και 4% από την Αφρική, επιβεβαιώνοντας με τον καλύτερο τρόπο τον Mundus («Παγκόσμιο») χαρακτήρα του προγράμματος.
