Profile of the Programme

The MA in TechReg aims at:

• Deepening the knowledge in specialised fields of legal science related to new/disruptive technologies
• Examining the legal, regulatory, normative, ethical, and governance dimensions of specific topics related to cutting edge fields, such as Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, Big Data, Intellectual Property rights, Human Rights, Cybercrime, and the “Metaverse” environment
• Exposing students to the disruption of legal science through new technologies
• Emphasising the comparative study of technology regulation, and its implementation in the global context
• Maximising the employability prospects in the digital economy sector

Access to Further Studies

Graduates of the programme can be accepted into Third Cycle degrees (Doctoral Degree)
