Το Πανεπιστήμιο Έρευνας και Τεχνολογίας του Hong Kong (HKUST) ανακοίνωσε πως δέχεται αιτήσεις για μία διαθέσιμη υποτροφία για εκπόνηση διδακτορικής διατριβής στο Τμήμα Πολιτικών Μηχανικών. Η υποτροφία θα είναι ύψους περίπου €2,600 μηνιαίως και οι ενδιαφερόμενοι καλούνται να αποστείλουν την αίτησή τους συνοδευόμενη από τα απαραίτητα δικαιολογητικά στο email ilias@ust.hk του Έλληνα Καθηγητή του Τμήματος, κ. Δημητρακόπουλου, με καταληκτική ημερομηνία υποβολής την 30η Οκτωβρίου 2022.

PhD position available in Civil Engineering HKUST
Applications are invited for a PhD position in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) under the supervision of Dr. Elias Dimitrakopoulos. Eligibility
This is a call for high caliber candidates with a Master in civil engineering, who wish to pursue a PhD degree in Civil Engineering at the HKUST.
English Requirements:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL):
Paper-based test (PBT) score ≥ 650, Internet-based test (iBT) score ≥ 95
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS): overall score ≥ 7.0, all sub-scores ≥ 6.0
Funding
The standard studentship is approximately HK$20,000 (approximately €2,600) per month tax free. Strong candidates will be supported to apply for the Hong Kong PhD Fellowship Scheme. The Hong Kong PhD Fellowship provides an annual stipend of HK$340,000 (approximately €44,500) and a conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$15,000 per year, for 3 years.
