Three scholarships are available for Master's programmes at UCL IEDE:

• IEDE Prof. Llewelyn-Davies MSc Scholarship in Health, Wellbeing and Sustainable Buildings
• IEDE Prof Hopkinson MSc Scholarship in Light and Lighting
• IEDE Prof Llewelyn-Davies MSc Scholarship in Integrated Building Design and Operation

These new scholarships are open to all students who hold an offer (conditional or unconditional) for the following MSc programmes at UCL during the 2018-19 academic year:

MSc in Health, Wellbeing and Sustainable Buildings
MSc in Light and Lighting
MSc in Integrated Building Design and Operation

One scholarship will be awarded for each MSc programme.

The value of the award is £4,450 in total for each student.

The deadline for applications to this scholarship is 16.00 British Summer Time (15.00 Greenwich Mean Time), Thursday, 31st May 2018.

Eligibility requirements

Candidates can be from any country but must hold a current offer (conditional or unconditional) for one of the programmes listed above.

Selection criteria

The Scholarship is awarded on the basis of academic merit as well as any relevant professional merit. In your supporting statement please provide evidence and examples of such academic and professional merit if applicable -  including any prizes, work experience and scholarships. Also, please include other support sought or gained from employers and / or other external bodies, e.g. financial/in-kin support/time for study.

Application Procedure

Applications to this scholarship are now open.

You will need to hold an offer, conditional or unconditional, of a place on the Scholarship's relevant programme at UCL in order to apply for the scholarship.

You are advised to submit your application for this degree at UCL in good time for the Admissions Office and the academic department to process and respond to your application.

In the “Supporting Statement” section you should state, in no more than 500 words, why you should be considered for the scholarship. Please include other support sought or gained from employer and / or other external bodies, e.g. financial/ in-kind support / time for study.

Notification of results

The successful candidates will be notified by email and formal letter no later than Friday, 29th June 2018.

They will be required to confirm their acceptance of their offer of a place on the relevant programme no later than Monday, 30th July 2018.

If a recipient is not able to confirm their offer by this date, they may forfeit the scholarship. In these circumstances, the scholarship will be awarded to the next best candidate.
