George David Family Master Scholarships for students from Greece & Cyprus, University of Edinburgh, UK (2015-2016)

George David Family Scholarship

The Edinburgh Centre of Carbon Innovation (ECCI) is offering two scholarships to prospective postgraduates resident in Greece or Cyprus.

The scholarships are worth £8,000 each, to be deducted from tuition fees. They will be awarded to applicants of the following MSc programmes:

Eligible Programmes

  • LLM Climate Change Law
  • MSc Carbon Finance
  • MSc Carbon Management
  • MSc Ecosystem Services
  • MSc Marine Systems and Policies

Eligibility

The scholarship will be awarded to a student who is accepted for admission onto an eligible part-time or full-time MSc programme at the University of Edinburgh commencing in 2015-2016.

Applicants must be resident in Greece or Cyprus at the time of application.

Applicants who have already commenced their programme of study on the closing date are not eligible for this scholarship.

Applicants intending to study part-time intermittent or online distance learning courses are not eligible for this scholarship.

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Candidates must have, or expect to obtain, a UK first class or 2:1 Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.

Applying

To apply for a scholarship you must first apply for admission for an eligible programme of study at the University of Edinburgh.

Once you have applied for admission you will receive your University Username (UUN). Your UUN is the letter 's' followed by your matriculation number; for example, s0987654.

Only applicants who have received an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) by the closing date of the scholarship are likely to be considered by the panel.

Eligible applicants should complete an online scholarship application.

The closing date for applications is 30 June 2015.

Notification

A Selection Committee will meet in July 2015 to select the scholarship holders. All applicants will be notified of the outcome in July 2015.
