The Program requires the completion of 90 ECTS -European Credit Transfer System - units. Out of these, 45 ECTS are allocated to nine core modules, 15 ECTS are allocated to three electives or one specialization and the remaining 30 ECTS are allocated to the Thesis Modules. Each module is delivered by 3-hour lectures per week.

 

Core modules: The Core MBA curriculum consists of nine courses aiming to cover the essential business disciplines and improve your analytical thinking and decision-making skills to enhance your professional career. The core courses will deal with many challenges facing business managers across different industry sectors.  

You must successfully complete 45 ECTS from the following list:

  • MANAGERIAL ACCOUNTING (5 ECTS)
  • MANAGERIAL ECONOMICS (5 ECTS)
  • MARKETING PRINCIPLES (5 ECTS)
  • FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (5 ECTS)
  • QUANTITATIVE METHODS (5 ECTS)
  • HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP (5 ECTS)
  • STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT (5 ECTS)
  • PROJECT MANAGEMENT (5 ECTS)
  • GLOBAL BUSINESS ENVIRONMENT (5 ECTS)

 

MBA electives: The MBA elective portfolio offered by the School consists of 14 courses covering a wide range of subject areas. The electives will allow you to specialize in areas of specific interest or professional development or to explore new possible avenues. They will be delivered mainly by our experienced faculty but they also include guest lecturers from business or consulting firms who will share with you real-world experience.

You must successfully complete 15 ECTS from the following list:

  • SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (5 ECTS)
  • PROJECT TIME, COST AND RISK MANAGEMENT (5 ECTS)
  • MANAGING INNOVATION (5 ECTS)
  • INTERNATIONAL MARKETING (5 ECTS)
  • OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT (5 ECTS)
  • PUBLIC SECTOR MANAGEMENT (5 ECTS)

MBA Specializations: The MBA offers you the opportunity to select one of the following two Specializations which best serves your career development, namely, the ‘Innovation & Entrepreneurship’ specialization or the “Strategic Marketing” Specialization. The specialization  is achieved by completing a Final MBA Project on a relevant thematic topic and opting for a specific combination of three electives from the MBA elective portfolio.

You must successfully complete 15 ECTS from one of the following:

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Specialization

  • INNOVATION AND GROWTH (5 ECTS)
  • ENTREPRENEURSHIP (5 ECTS)
  • MANAGING INNOVATION (5 ECTS)

Strategic Marketing Specialization

  • INTEGRATED MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS (5 ECTS)
  • FUNDAMENTALS OF STRATEGIC MARKETING PLANNING (5 ECTS)
  • INTERNATIONAL MARKETING (5 ECTS)

 

Thesis Modules: These include the Final MBA Project and a Research Methods course on the research methodology that can be a employed to carry out the project. The final project offers you a valuable opportunity to put into practice the theory you learnt and knowledge you acquired on the MBA. Working on a real-life business problem, the project consolidates your experience, enables you to develop specialized expertise and exposes you to career enhancing opportunities. The final project can be sponsored either by your current employer or other companies from various industries or government environment. This will give you a great opportunity to approach potential employers or organizations that are of particular interest to you. Examples include companies in sectors, such as, manufacturing, economics and finance, transportation and storage, retail and wholesale, consulting, distribution and logistics, scientific and technical activities.

You must successfully complete 30 ECTS from the following list:

  • RESEARCH METHODS (5 ECTS)
  • FINAL MBA PROJECT (25 ECTS)
